The digital music giant now is letting members listen to complete songs online for free up to five times.

Napster Inc. has unveiled a redesigned interactive and ad-supported site. As part of the new site, the company now will allow members to listen to all songs in its library up to five times online for free. Basic Napster.com membership is free. The free songs can be played online at the site but cannot be downloaded without purchase.
Napster also has announced two additional features on Napster.com that are part of its new web strategy. Details on online music resources NapsterLinks and Narchive will be announced soon.
Napster is No. 269 in the Internet Retailer Top 400 Guide to Retail Web Sites. The pure-play retailer reached $85.4 million in sales last year, a 141% increase over 2004’s $35.4 million.
