Email marketing software company achieves 25% quarterly revenue growth and acquires 116 new clients
Durham, NC – April 12, 2006 – Bronto Software, Inc., a leading provider of online email marketing software, announced record quarterly revenue growth of 25% in the first quarter of its fiscal 2006. Revenues increased 115% over the same quarter last year. Additionally, Bronto welcomed 116 new clients as users of its web-based email marketing software from January 1 to March 31, 2006. New clients included: Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana, Citadel Broadcasting, DeBrand, Inc., Fordham University, Baylor College of Medicine, Money Management International (MMI), and Car Toys, Inc.
George Washington University`s Elliott School of International Affairs signed an annual contract with Bronto in March 2006 for sending emails to alumni, current students, and other supporters on a weekly basis about events as well as targeted newsletters on a quarterly basis. Nell McGarity, assistant director of public affairs for publications and media, commented: "So far the highlights of 2006 for me are the George Washington Colonials playing in the NCAA Men`s Basketball Tournament and the Elliott School of International Affairs selecting Bronto Software for sending our email marketing communications."
Additionally in the first quarter, Bronto formally added email template design to its account management portfolio of services, of which many customers like the Elliott School immediately procured. The company also expanded its office space at the American Tobacco Campus in Durham, North Carolina to accommodate its growing number of employees.
