24 popular Hardware/Home Improvement retail sites now rely on SellCast™ Online services to maximize profitability with comparison shopping engines

Orlando, Fla. April 04, 2006 – Channel Intelligence, a leading provider of on-demand data solutions that drive Web-initiated commerce, signed three key brands in the Hardware/Home Improvement market in the first quarter of 2006. The new clients are Homeannex.com, ToolUp and Improvement Direct, which together represent 15 e-commerce sites.

These companies join Home Décor Products, Northern Tool & Equipment, and the leading nationwide Home Improvement retailer that have selected SellCast Online services to optimize, manage and syndicate their online product catalog to comparison shopping engines such as Froogle, Nextag, Shopping.com, Shopzilla, Yahoo! Shopping and many others.

The SellCast Online service, developed by Channel Intelligence, automates the delivery and optimization of a retailer’s online product catalog as it is sent to comparison shopping engines, shopping portals, affiliate networks and dozens of other destination sites. Through its patented optimization process, the SellCast Online service ensures that more products appear at the shopping destination sites in the categories where consumers are most likely to find them. As a result of this improved placement, retailers have experienced an increase in top line revenue. The SellCast Online service also provide robust reporting capabilities that help retailers improve the profitability of their marketing programs by enabling them to syndicate only the products that convert into sales.

“Hardware/Home Improvement now joins Computers/Electronics and Toys/Baby as verticals where the majority of the leading retailers in those verticals use SellCast Online”, said Steven Roth, lead product manager for Channel Intelligence. “These retailers have found that the combination of our patented data optimization processes, ability to scale to a half-million products or more, and detailed reporting allow them to significantly improve their results with the comparison shopping engines and other advertisers.”

Craig Stilwell, vice president of marketing for Improvement Direct, Inc said “We are looking forward to working with Channel Intelligence. Their product offering and previous expertise in our niche market convinced us that they were the best choice to handle our data feed management and optimization needs.”
