FTD offers the highest high broadband connectivity average
The Gomez Index shows that FTD in October had the highest broadband availability at 99.6%.

The web’s Top 50 retailers continue to provide a high level of accessibility when shoppers and visitors come to an online shopping site using a high broadband connection, according to a weekly performance index from Gomez Inc.
Keeping business-to-consumer e-commerce sites up and running no matter how visitors choose to access a retail site remains an important measure of customer service and Internet performance. The Gomez Index shows that FTD in October had the highest broadband availability rate at 99.6%. FTD was followed by Peapod (99.5%), Blue Nile (99.5%), J.C. Penney (99.5%), Office Depot (99.5%), QVC (99.5%), Quixtar (99.4%), Amazon (99.4%), Office Max (99.4%) and Nordstrom (99.4%).
All of the 10 largest online retailers measured in the Gomez study exceeded the average high broadband site availability rate of 98.2%.
The index notes that FTD also had the highest low broadband availability rate at 99.2%, while Zappos.com had the highest dial-up availability rate of 98.9%.
