Mercantec`s PowerCommerce 2005 accredited by Authorize.Net as a Certified Shopping Cart
Burlington, MA - Dec. 1, 2004 - Lightbridge, Inc. (NASDAQ: LTBG), a leading analytics, decisioning and e-commerce company and the parent company of Authorize.Net®, today announced a partnership with Mercantec, Inc.®, a global provider of e-commerce solutions for small and mid-sized businesses, to integrate Mercantec`s PowerCommerce® 2005 to the Authorize.Net Payment Gateway.
As part of the agreement, Mercantec has been certified through Authorize.Net`s Shopping Cart Certification Program, which provides that the company`s solutions meet Authorize.Net`s highest integration, performance and security standards. Merchants are now able to sell their goods or services over the Internet using Mercantec`s PowerCommerce suite of Web site building and storefront solutions together with the Authorize.Net Payment Gateway to process secure customer orders online.
