PINDAR SYSTEMS’ RECENT AGILITY™UPDATE DELIVERS FOR ENTERPRISE MULTI-CHANNEL PRODUCT CONTENT MANAGEMENT

CHICAGO – (September 16, 2003) – Pindar Systems, the leader in product content management and delivery for multi-channel commerce, announces the availability of Agility™ 2.1, an update to its successful program that adds new enterprise platform and application support, Java and Web ease-of-use features, and workflow/functionality enhancements.

Agility 2.1 is the most recent update to the Agility software, which is leading the field in true integration of product information and image assets across both print and online channels. The release of this product was successfully built on the success of Pindar Systems’ Agility Java-based, J2EE-compliant Web application server technology, which now features one of the most powerful and flexible enterprise integration and application sets on the content management market.

Pioneering full support for Adobe’s fast-growing InDesign™ 2.0 desktop publishing system, Agility 2.1 supports the popular QuarkXpress™ desktop publishing product. IBM’s Websphere™ and BEA’s WebLogic™ application servers are supported as well as IBM’s DB2, Oracle 9i and MS SQL Server 2000 database products. Agility 2.1 also now runs on the UNIX AIX/Solaris platforms in addition to Microsoft Windows 2000.
