Agreement Provides Access to Multiple Language Services in European Market
RICHMOND, Calif., Feb. 12 -- QRS Corporation (Nasdaq: QRSI) and Influe today announced an agreement that brings together the retail industry`s leading provider of collaborative commerce solutions with the leading provider of EDI services in Europe to enable retailers and suppliers to conduct global business electronically. The companies will jointly sell QRS Catalogue(TM) with Influe`s EDI services.
Influe will provide a Web-based, localized interface that enables trading partners to upload their product data into QRS Catalogue, the retail industry`s largest electronic source of product information for retailer- supplier transactions. Influe`s technology converts product information from any European language into a PRICAT or XML document, standards for exchanging product information electronically among companies. QRS Catalogue allows retailers, manufacturers and suppliers to synchronize current, accurate product information with each other to automate business processes, improve cycle times and reduce costs.
