Retail Software Provider Selects New Vice President of Marketing and Sales To Help Execute On Growth Strategy
Natick, Mass. – Feb. 3, 2003 – CommercialWare, Inc., the leading provider of cross-channel commerce infrastructure software, today announced that it has selected John Coskie as its new Vice President of Marketing and Sales. Mr. Coskie brings with him over twenty years of experience in the technology sector, including expertise with retail and business-to-business software. CommercialWare will leverage Coskie`s strong technology experience to execute on its strategy to increase revenue by expanding its customer base to include the retail mid-market and through offering a broader footprint of products that will strengthen the company`s leadership position in the retail industry.
As former Vice President of Sales and Marketing for CommercialWare from 1998 to 1999, Coskie rejoins CommercialWare to leverage his expanded direct marketing background. Most recently, he acted as Director of Eastern Regional Sales for the leading development software provider Unica Technologies, which like CommercialWare, serves the direct marketing space among other markets. In 2002 Coskie`s region realized a 30 percent increase in revenue under his leadership.

In addition to his work at CommercialWare and Unica, Coskie has held a series of positions at several other technology companies throughout his twenty-two year career including serving as Vice President of Sales at Computer Associates, Director of Sales at Access Technology, and Account Manager at The Saddlebrook Corporation. Coskie has a history of exceeding revenue targets and reducing cost of sales.
