NAPA WINE COMPANY TO ADD ONLINE MARKETING TO CUSTOM CRUSH SERVICES: TAPS BENSON MARKETING GROUP TO IMPLEMENT PROGRAM

June 27, 2002, NAPA, Calif. – Napa Wine Company (www.napawineco.com), the Napa Valley-based custom crush winery services company, announced today that it has launched a project to add online sales and marketing services for its winery clients. The company retained Benson Marketing Group (www.bensonmarketing.com) to design, develop, and manage an E-commerce enabled website that will feature wines from more than 15 wine brands the company sells through its Oakville tasting room.

In addition to designing and developing a new website, Benson Marketing Group will provide ongoing product merchandising, online marketing, content development, and direct marketing services. “By working with Benson Marketing, we will offer a wider range of services than any custom crush company. From crushing fruit to selling direct to the consumer, we can now help winemakers and vintners build wine brands from the ground up,” said Robert Lawson, chief executive officer.

In addition to highlighting the unusual concentration of winemaking talent that operates under one roof at Napa Wine Co., the website will also feature the company’s custom crush facilities. The new site is expected to be live in late July.
