As long as a site is not experiencing a calamity, such as a precipitous decline in conversion rates, it's hard to know when a site is ready for a redesign. But there are certain signs a retailer should look for that will tell when a redesign is warranted. These include analyzing how the web experience stacks up against the competition, the amount of clutter that has built up since the last redesign, customer feedback and whether the web site reflects the multi-channel balance the retailer desires. This session will walk retailers through how to analyze whether a site is ready for a redesign, how large a redesign to undertake and how to analyze the payback. It features a consultant who has been involved in many retail site redesigns and a retailer who has recently undergone a major redesign.
