Seth D. Radwell, President, e-Scholastic Division of Scholastic
Seth Radwell is President of e-Scholastic and Executive Vice President of Scholastic, the largest children's publishing
company, most familiar as the publisher of Harry Potter books. e-Scholastic's mission is to maximize the potential of the
Internet as a distribution and e-commerce channel to expand the company's core businesses. The division's Scholastic.com
and related e-commerce operations were ranked the country's 43rd largest e-retailer by Internet Retailer's Top 400 Guide
with annual online revenues exceeding $250 million. A veteran e-commerce and publishing executive, Seth joined Scholastic
in 2005 to head e-Scholastic, where he oversees COOL (Club Ordering Online), the online school book club that processes
about 40% of Scholastic's U.S. school book club orders; The Scholastic Store, an e-commerce site serving families; and
The Teacher Store, which sells Scholastic products to teachers and to school districts. Prior to joining Scholastic,
Seth was a group president at Bookspan, a direct marketer of general interest and specialty book clubs, where he led a
transformation from paper-based direct marketing business to a multi-channel business that included e-commerce.
Previously, he was CEO of Doubleday Interactive and General Manager for Bertelsmann Online in the U.S. Prior to that,
Seth served as Senior Vice President for Prodigy Services Company. He received a Master's degree in public policy from
Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College.
