Toni Sikes founded The Guild in 1985 as a publisher of Sourcebooks for design trade professionals to help artists find markets for their work. In 1998, she founded the guild.com web site and catalog to bring artists' work directly to consumers. Toni also serves on the boards of The Furniture Society, an association for studio furniture makers, Aid to Artisans, a craft organization focused on economic development, and The Wisconsin Technology Council. She holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Alabama and a master's degree in market research from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
