Don Cohen founded Tool King in 1978 and has been responsible for the company's evolution into a three-time Inc 500 company. As CEO, he is responsible for all aspects of the company's operation and strategic direction. Don brought the company online in 2001, after testing tools sales on eBay, and has built ToolKing.com into a leading online retailer of tools and accessories. Originally a small chain, Tool King now has one store and derives most of its revenue from the web. Prior to Tool King, Don founded and managed the Tool Box, a Detroit based retail store, from 1973-1978. He earned a B.A. from Wayne State University in 1972.
