Signiant to incorporate Akamai`s Digital Parcel Service (DPS) for advanced
digital asset exchange solution
Cambridge, MA and Burlington, MA -- April 24, 2001 -- Akamai Technologies,

and Signiant, Inc., the leading provider of Managed Content Exchange
Services, today announced a strategic alliance to provide a comprehensive
solution for cost-effective and efficient management and delivery of digital
content. Signiant will leverage Akamai`s Digital Parcel Service (DPS) to
enhance the performance and reliability of digital asset distribution for
Signiant`s customers.

delivery of large digital files to end users worldwide. Signiant`s Managed
