RedEnvelope Inc., an online and catalog gift retailer, has promoted Kristine N. Dang to executive vice president, merchandising & creative from her position as general merchandising manager.

Dang joined RedEnvelope in July 1997, as director of merchandising. She became vice president of merchandising in March 2000, then general merchandising manager in April 2003.

Before joining RedEnvelope, Dang was an assistant buyer at Williams-Sonoma Inc.
