OrderMotion Inc., a provider of order management and other e-commerce technology, signed on 38 new merchant clients and landed $2.5 million in venture cash from MMV Financial Inc., the company says. OrderMotion plans to use the funds to expand its sales and marketing efforts among small and mid-size businesses, it says.
OrderMotion also launched in the second quarter Version 9.0 of its OrderMotion order management application. The new version features an ability to post items for sale on eBay.com and improved warehousing, including the ability to associate an item with multiple locations in a warehouse to better manage movement and tracking of products.
OrderMotion’s clients include Goldspeed.com, Warrior Custom Golf and Healthy Pets. Goldspeed is No. 362 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide.
Also gaining merchant clients in recent months is Montreal-based iCongo Inc., whose customer base now includes David’s Bridal, Costumehub, Danier Leather and Garage.ca.
