Kohl’s names its top e-commerce executive a principal officer
Kohl’s Corp. has promoted Thomas A. Kingsbury, who oversees Kohls.com and e-commerce operations, to principal officer.
The move is part of Kohl’s expansion of its executive committee from three principal officers to five. Kingsbury continues as senior executive vice president and will now oversee marketing, business development, e-commerce and information technology. Kingsbury was previously responsible for merchandise presentation, store administration, store operations, information technology and the web.
Kingsbury joined Kohl’s, No. 219 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, in August 2006. Prior to Kohl’s, he was president and CEO of Filene’s/Kaufmann’s, the largest division of May Department Stores Co., which merged with Macy’s Group Inc. in 2005.
In addition to Kingsbury, Kohl’s other principal officers include senior executive vice presidents Donald A. Brennan, John M. Worthington, Kevin Mansell and Larry Montgomery.
