Michael Greenberg promoted to president at Loyalty Lab

Michael Greenberg has been named president of loyalty programs services provider Loyalty Lab Inc. Previously, he had served the company as vice president of marketing with additional responsibility for product management.

“Michael is a marketing maven but as he took an increasingly proactive role in product management it became clear he was a natural to take on a broader leadership role,” says Mark H. Goldstein, Loyalty Lab CEO and co-founder. “We’re maneuvering a steep growth curve and our operations are in good hands with Michael.”

Greenberg has more than 10 years of experience in retail and related industries. Prior to joining Loyalty Lab in 2004, he was vice president of marketing at Galyans, a retailer later acquired by Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc., which is No. 133 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide.

At Galyans, he was responsible for the company’s rewards and preferred customer programs, in addition to all marketing, including relationship, direct, credit and interactive marketing. Earlier in his career, Greenberg worked in merchandising and planning at Macy’s West. He also held management positions at several start-up e-commerce services companies.

“Loyalty Lab has tapped into a big need in the marketplace and I’ve enjoyed contributing to our growth and success these last three years,” Greenberg says. “We’re poised to capture a larger part of the market and I’m excited about our future.”
