KURANT EXTENDS GLOBAL REACH WITH INTERNATIONAL VERSION OF STORESENSE

SAN FRANCISCO - May 1, 2001 - Kurant Corporation, a leading provider of e-business software and services, today announced today announced a global-ready version of StoreSense, the company`s flagship e-business software platform.

With this latest edition, Kurant has fully optimized StoreSense for the global marketplace, from rapid localization and deployment capabilities to local market requirements such as currencies, payment methods and tax calculations. StoreSense is fully double-byte capable, allowing expansion into the fast-growing markets of Asia.

"In the past year, Kurant has achieved clear market leadership, both at home and abroad. We`ve been successful internationally for the same reasons we`re number one at home -- we deliver cutting-edge e-business technology that`s affordable, easy to use and manage, and is flexible to adapt to the needs of any business," said Curtis Pierce, CEO of Kurant Corporation. "We have already secured partnerships in key markets around the world and localized StoreSense into Japanese and Spanish. However, this new version of StoreSense will accelerate our expansion into international markets, taking our global leadership to a new level."

"We`ve partnered with Kurant for over a year, so we can say from firsthand experience that StoreSense is a caliber of product that is unmatched by any other we`ve seen, domestic or international," said Tim Rignold, managing director of Web Host Australia Pty. Ltd. "StoreSense has allowed us to grow our business tremendously. We started off as a web host, with merchants such as Airwalk Australia. That business was so successful that we`ve now become a master reseller, delivering StoreSense to web hosts and ISPs throughout Australia."

Greater Functionality for Serving Global Customers StoreSense now features additional functionality designed to meet the needs of the global e-business marketplace, including multiple language capabilities allowing merchants to display stores in a designated language, regardless of the shopper`s browser setting, or to create a multi-language store and let shoppers themselves select a language in which to view the store. In addition, StoreSense is now optimized for rapid translation of stores into multiple languages - critical for expediting the time required to enter new global markets.

StoreSense now also offers greater flexibility and less manual administration in tax calculations with more sophisticated methods, including an extension for CyberSource Tax Calculator and the ability to calculate U.S. sales and use tax, Canadian Provincial Sales Tax (PST) and Goods and Services Tax (GST) or International Value Added Tax (VAT) for any order. StoreSense also allows merchants to indicate if shipping costs should be included in the taxable amount for an invoice - a critical function for the international market, where tax rules vary across countries, provinces, states, etc.

Additionally, StoreSense supports the WorldPay payment processor. Merchants can offer shoppers the ability to make purchases using the services of this recognized and trusted global leader in secure Internet credit card payment transactions serving more than 130 currencies and 80 countries worldwide.

Achievements in the Global Arena
Kurant holds many achievements in international markets. In addition to the Japanese localization of StoreSense, Kurant has established a strategic partnership with Telefónica del Sur Net SA (TelSur) of Chile, one of the largest telecommunications companies in Latin America, that includes sales, marketing and product localization. Furthermore, Kurant has secured a strategic alliance with a leading Southeast Asian e-business provider PT Net Nusantara in Indonesia. Kurant also delivers StoreSense worldwide through partnerships with international master resellers such as ASPRE and CISP.
