Online spending up 34% at end of January
Online retail spending grew 34% for the week ending Jan. 23, reaching $1.33 billion from $991 million a year ago, comScore Networks Inc. reports.
Total retail spending for the week ending Jan. 22 was down 0.3% from the corresponding week a year ago, according to ShopperTrak’s National Retail Sales Estimate.
Online travel sales were up 30% to $1.07 from $822 million a year ago, comScore reports.
