Diane Meyer takes on the role of e-commerce director for Pokémon USA
Diane Meyer has joined Pokémon USA Inc. as e-commerce director, responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s online retail site, Pokemoncenter.com, including fulfillment operations, customer service, online marketing and overall business initiatives. Pokémon, developed in Japan a decade ago, is a role-playing video game that has generated $25 billion in worldwide revenue.
Prior to joining Pokémon, Diane was a project director for Toys “R” Us Inc., No. 39 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide. In that position, she led merchandise transformation initiatives for Toys “R” Us stores and distribution centers. Diane was also director of logistics at Toyrus.com where she managed inbound logistics for Amazon.com, a fulfillment partner. Previously, Diane held various management roles within operations and logistics at Avon and Seagram.
Pokémon USA is a subsidiary of The Pokemon Company of Japan, which is affiliated with video game manufacturer Nintendo Co. Ltd.
