BRANFORD, CONN. - May 15, 2001 - Netkey, Inc., the leading provider of enterprise software for Internet self-service systems including kiosks and managed PCs, today announced the appointment of Keith H. Feingold as executive vice president of worldwide sales.
Feingold joins Netkey at a critical time in the growth of the company and the kiosk industry. Retailers, banks and other organizations are adopting Internet self-service devices to grow revenues, extend access to inventory, improve customer service, and build brand awareness. According to Forrester Research, 80 percent of retailers plan to roll out kiosks to stores by 2002, as in-store devices maximize Web investment and support sales staff. Industry analysts Frost & Sullivan in January named Netkey as the technology and market share leader for kiosk software systems.
“Keith’s demonstrated ability to build and direct a successful sales operation makes him the ideal leader of Netkey’s worldwide sales team,” said Netkey CEO Alex Richardson. “His significant sales expertise and management talent are a welcome addition as Netkey expands its aggressive global sales and marketing efforts to increase revenues and capture market share by providing measurable value to our customers.”
Feingold comes to Netkey from Mercator Software (NASDAQ: MCTR), a $138 million provider of enterprise application integration (EAI) software, where he served for five years as vice president, channel sales. While at Mercator, he was involved from the inception in the development of the channels organization, growing revenue from $4 million to $40 million. Exceeding sales revenue and business goals every quarter, Feingold was influential in all aspects of building the sales organization and taking Mercator public in 1998. Prior to Mercator, he held sales and management positions for marquee global technology corporations including Sybase, Image Business Systems, and Oracle. He holds a BA from the University of Arizona.
Christian & Timbers, a Netkey investor and the nation`s leading retained executive search firm serving high technology companies, was instrumental in attracting the software sales veteran to Netkey.
