The California Republican Party and online cash-back shopping portal Ebates.com have launched Republicanshopping.com, which allows users to shop at more than 400 online retailers in 17 categories and donate their Ebates cash-back money directly to the California Republican Party. Party members can register at the web site to be part of the fundraising/shopping effort. Ebates.com says it is in discussions with other political parties and affinity groups to do similar fundraising sites. Ebates.com gives users cash back of up to 25% for purchases made through its portal.
