Kevin Lee, co-founder and executive chairman of search engine marketing company Did-it.com, has been elected chairperson of the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization, a trade association. Lee is a founding board member of the group and also serves on the Search Council for the Association for Interactive Marketing and on the IAB Search Committee.
Lee also coordinated the organization’s The State of Search Engine Marketing 2004 survey as chairperson of the group's research committee.
Dana Todd, executive vice president and one of the founders of SiteLab International Inc., has been elected president. She also is a founding board members of the group. She was vice president during 2004.
John Sanchez, chairman and CEO of Zunch Communications Inc., has been elected vice president. Jeff Pruitt, president of Icrossing Inc., has been elected secretary/treasurer.
"Our organization now needs to step up to the next level, as the industry has been moving to the next level," said Barbara Coll, the groups founding and outgoing chairperson and president. She is also CEO of Webmama Inc.
