BlowSearch.com, a meta search engine and provider of instant messaging tools, has launched a pay-per-click search engine advertising program.
Advertisers on BlowSearch will be able to decide from what sources they want to receive click-through traffic, BlowSearch says. The company’s Traffic Source Selection technology lets advertisers control their listings on a site-by-site basis across BlowSearch’s partner network.
In addition, BlowSearch’s Competitor Blocking tool will allow merchants to type in a competitor’s IP address and prevent paid listings from being displayed to that specific address.
BlowSearchs’ tracking technology will enable advertisers to follow how their network partner perform so they can tailor and customize their search advertising campaigns, BlowSearch says. They can gauge the success of online ad campaigns by tracking conversion using a combination of browser cookies and proprietary technology.
The search engine also will offer sponsored search listings in results, and sponsored listings will be delivered to other major web sites and search properties across the Internet.
