All Aboard Toys acquires certain assets from AnneMail

All Aboard Toys LLC, which operates the toy site AllAboardToys.com, has acquired certain strategic assets of competitor AnneMail Inc. for an undisclosed price. The assets include AnneMail’s customer base and related assets, including the AnneMail web site and associated Internet names. It is the first such acquisition for the company, All Aboard Toys says.

A company spokesperson says that sales at All Aboard Toys reached historic highs in 2004 but declines to give details.

All Aboard Toys has been selling online since 1999, specializing in educational and family-friendly toys for preschoolers. Brands it features include Thomas the Tank Engine, Bob the Builder, Jay Jay the Jet Plane, Dora the Explorer, and Sesame Street. It is the exclusive online retailer for Madeline.com.
