I/PRO Corp. Inc., a San Francisco-based web site performance auditing and research firm, has appointed Michael Crosson, a former executive of Vivendi-Universal’s Flipside.com, as senior vice president of sales and business development. Crosson will also be in charge of forging strategic alliances with business partners.

Prior to joining I/PRO, Crosson served as vice president of ad sales for Flipside.com, an interactive game network that is now part of Vendare Group; vice president of ad sales for MapQuest.com, a subsidiary of America Online Inc., and managing director of Omnicom Group’s Communicade division in London.
“At Vivendi, I was acutely aware that media buyers were being crippled by the need for more accurate and representative data, which is mission critical to every interactive ad agency," Crosson said. "I/PRO is very well-positioned as the trusted dominant leader in web site traffic auditing and analytics. We will reinforce this position with a barrage of new products slated for launch throughout the year.”
