WebTrends names new VP of product development and hosted operations
Web analytics company WebTrends Inc. has named Hamid Bahadori as vice president of product development and hosted operations. Bahadori, who reports directly to CEO Greg Drew, will be responsible for leading product development and hosted operations for the company.
Prior to joining WebTrends, Bahadori served as vice president of engineering at rival analytics company Coremetrics Inc., senior vice president of engineering at Actuate Inc. and vice president of engineering at Envive. He also held the position of senior director of development at Oracle, project lead at Sun Microsystems and senior systems engineer at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
“The appointment of an individual of Hamid’s caliber is a clear indication of the current strength of our company and a strong sign of our future market opportunity,” Drew says. “Hamid’s leadership and experience will continue to grow our world-class engineering team.”
