Payment processor TransFirst names a new president of e-payments
TransFirst, a provider of credit card processing services and payment technologies, has named Michael Phelan president of its ePayment Services division, which specializes in card-not-present transactions for online retailers, catalogers and not-for-profit organizations. Phelan has been the ePayment Services division’s vice president of sales for the past 13 months.
Phelan joined TransFirst with 14 years of credit card and merchant processing experience. He has been vice president of business development for the Wealth Management Group at First National Bank in Omaha, NB. Prior to that, Phelan held other management positions within First National Bank, including general manager of Collection Corporation of America and senior vice president for First National Merchant Solutions
