PerformanceRetail Names Mike Ducatelli as Vice President General Retail
Retail Sales Veteran to Drive Company`s Expansion into New Markets
AUSTIN, Texas, May 10 -- PerformanceRetail, the leading provider of web-based merchandising and store operations software for the retail industry, today announced that Mike Ducatelli, the former director of sales for the Retail Business Unit at Lawson Software, has joined the company as vice president, general retail. Ducatelli will lead PerformanceRetail`s expanded customer acquisition efforts across the grocery, drugstore, general merchandise and specialty retail markets. Ducatelli joins other new PerformanceRetail hires including John Penver, CFO; Mike Dreggors, vice president of convenience retail sales; and Howard Hyche, director pre-sales all also announced today.

Ducatelli brings over 25 years of enterprise software sales experience to PerformanceRetail, most recently serving as the head of sales for Lawson Software`s Retail Business Unit. While at Lawson Software, Ducatelli led the company`s sales efforts to major retail clients in the grocery, drugstore and specialty retail markets, resulting in an increase in software license sales of over 150%. Prior to Lawson Software, Ducatelli served as worldwide vice president of sales and marketing for Propelis Software, a provider of business process management software that was acquired by Jacada Ltd. in 2001. Prior to Propelis, Ducatelli built and led enterprise software sales organizations at Parametric Technology, auxilium Corporation, Intercim Corporation and IBM. Ducatelli holds a BS degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of Massachusetts.
