Interwoven names a new president
Content management technology company Interwoven Inc. has named Max Carnecchia as president. He has held the post of interim president since earlier this year.
"Since Max was appointed interim president earlier this year, the company has continued to deliver solid performance," says Frank Fanzilli, chairman. "Under Max`s leadership the company is successfully executing a focused solutions strategy that`s increasing Interwoven`s market opportunity and creating further competitive differentiation."
Since Carnecchia became interim president, the company reports `s a 14% increase in total revenues for the first six months of 2006 compared to the same period in 2005, and a 58% increase in non- GAAP net income. On a GAAP basis, the company posted a profit for the first half of 2006 as opposed to a loss in the first half of 2005.
Carnecchia joined Interwoven in 2001 as senior vice president of worldwide sales. Prior to Interwoven, he held executive management positions in sales, alliances, professional services and support for a number of companies including Group 1 Software, IBM, Intel, and Smart DB Corp.
Interwoven provides enterprise content management systems for more than 3,600 companies worldwide.
