A summer promotion for CVS.com shoppers
Online drugstore CVS.com is starting a summer promotion, offering shoppers who spend more than $30 a bag of goods worth $35 for $4.99. The promotion starts Wednesday and will continue while supplies last, CVS.com says.
Buyers will receive a nylon tote bag provided by Real Simple that will include items such as a power toothbrush from HoMedics, a 35mm disposable flash camera from Kodak, sunscreen from Bain de Soleil, insect repellent by Repel, breath mints from Listerine, and body lotion from Olay. CVS says that some items, such as a new vapor mist breath spray from Binaca, will be available exclusively on CVS.com.
CVS.com will promote the offer through an e-mail campaign to registered CVS.com and ExtraCare members and in weekly newspaper circulars.
"It`s tough to get people off the beach to go shopping online during the summer months," said Pierrette Kelly, Vice President of CVS.com. "But this special offer is a great way to remind our customers of the value and convenience CVS.com offers year-round."
Drugstore chain CVS Corp. operates more than 4,000 stores and has annualk revenue of $22 billion.
