WWRE strikes a deal with UCCnet

WorldWide Retail Exchange, a b2b trading exchange for retailers, has entered into a preferred alliance partner agreement with UCCnet, a not-for-profit organization that provides data synchronization and item registry based on industry standards. Under the agreement, WWRE will provide a global connection to the majority of retailers’ and suppliers’ trading partners. The goal of the agreement is to drive adoption of complementary offerings and develop solutions that are compliant with EAN.UCC global standards to better manage product data.

"If UCCnet is the first step your company can take towards market visibility for products in the retail and CPG industry, then we’re you on-ramp to that step," said Colin Dyer, CEO of the WWRE. "This agreement provides members and their trading partners with a single point of access to the most up-to-date, quality data available." The WWRE is designed to facilitate and simplify online trading between retailers, suppliers and distributors.
