WebSideStory Inc., provider of digital marketing and analytics services, has announced that Jim MacIntyre will become president, CEO and a director of WebSideStory effective Nov. 20. MacIntyre was co-founder and CEO of Visual Sciences, which merged with WebSideStory in February.
MacIntyre will replace Jeff Lunsford, who is leaving WebSideStory to become CEO of another company. WebSideStory says Lunsford’s new job is with a privately-held company in a different industry, the details of which will be announced separately. Lunsford will remain a member of the board of directors.
WebSideStory also announced that Bill Harris has been appointed chairman of the board of directors.
In 2001, MacIntyre co-founded Visual Sciences, which developed Visual Site analytical software.
