Brooklyn Park, MN-based Wilsons The Leather Experts Inc. is planning to install six modules of New Generation Computing’s eSPS software at its headquarter over the next year, Wilsons announced this week. Wilsons, which uses eSPS collaboration software to maintain communications with overseas factories, will install the e-Quality, e-Exceptions, e-PreProduction, e-Pack, e-Shipment tracking and Executive System modules.
In particular, Wilsons plans to collaborate with New Generation Computing to enhance the e-Quality module, which allows retailers to monitor quality control as far back in the process as cutting and raw material receipt, says Fred Isenberg, New Generation’s vice president of sales.
