Amazon adds loose diamonds to jewelry store
Amazon.com Inc. continues to broaden its product selection. The latest: loose diamonds. Customers can now buy loose diamonds in Amazon.com’s Jewelry & Watches store, which it launched last year. Amazon also has introduced a proprietary search tool—Amazon Diamond Search—which will enable shoppers to search thousands of stones based on multiple diamond attributes, including shape, price, carat, cut, color and clarity.
Shoppers can choose from diamonds ranging from 0.25 carats to more than five carats with thousands of variations in color, clarity and cut, Amazon said. Each diamond’s description includes in-depth information such as table, depth, symmetry, and polish, as well as cut, clarity, colors and carat weight.
Customers also can view the official certified diamond grading report for each stone.
