Sales at Thralow Inc., which sells at a number of web sites, reached $6.5 million in the third quarter, the company reports, up 59% from $4 million in the year-ago quarter. It was the 22nd consecutive quarter of growth, Thralow says.
For the 12-month period that ended Sept. 30, Thralow’s sales reached $25.5 million, up 49% from $17.1 million a year earlier.
Thralow, No. 265 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide to Retail Web Sites, has outgrown its facilities in Duluth, MN, and is preparing to move some of its operations and inventory into a new building on the outskirts of Duluth.
Jonathan Thralow, director of marketing and technology, says the recent increases in sales were the result of redesigns at several web sites, increased inventory and filled-out product lines, and increased marketing efforts that target specific groups of customers.
