MarketLive(tm) Powers New E-Commerce Website for Fragrance Marketer Spritz.com

Robust Merchandising and Customer Support Capabilities Help Spritz.com Provide a Fun and Easy Way to Buy Top Fragrance Brands Online

Petaluma, CA -- June 25, 2004 -- Multimedia Live (MML) (http://www.mmlive.com), the leading developer of e-commerce technology and services for Intelligent Selling(tm) on the Web, has launched an advanced e-commerce website for online fragrance retailer Spritz.com (http://www.spritz.com). The site runs on the MarketLive(tm) Intelligent Selling(tm) System v4 e-commerce application from Multimedia Live. MarketLive gives Spritz.com complete control over online merchandising through administrable product groups, flexible display options, and the "Spritz Finder" interactive fragrance selector. Spritz.com also uses the MarketLive Customer Care Management Module as its call center interface.

Spritz.com is an online retailer of brand-name fragrances and spa & body products for both men and women. The company is owned and operated by fragrance industry veterans. Its line of over 2000 top-name products is priced significantly below retail, and is growing constantly. Spritz.com selected MarketLive technology because of Multimedia Live`s extensive e-commerce experience and the Marketlive product`s high ROI and proven effectiveness for supporting an evolving e-commerce strategy.

The MarketLive application`s product grouping capabilities provide an important boost to merchandising on Spritz.com. Each product can be placed in one or more categories through the MarketLive administrative user interface. Primary categories for Womens, Mens, and Spa & Body contain intuitive sub-categories for Brands, New Arrivals, Classics, Gift Ideas, and Minis. Brand-conscious shoppers can also find all products through the Brands primary category. Products can appear in multiple sub-categories as well. For example, a popular new item can be placed in both New Arrivals and Gift Ideas. Product index pages for each category or sub-category can be further sorted by price and brand name.

The Spritz Finder is based upon MarketLive product selection wizard technology. Customers can enter a keyword select a price range, and choose one or more product categories. MarketLive returns a collection of product thumbnails that link to the relevant product page. Keywords can be a brand name, product name, item number, or something that describes the kind of fragrance they want, such as rose or spicy.

MarketLive helps Spritz.com make fragrance shopping fun for everyone, even those who are not familiar with the world of perfumes, splashes, colognes, and the terms used to describe them. The MarketLive product`s content management capabilities enabled the easy creation of the Spritz Glossary, a customer information section that explains fragrance styles and the differences between different product types. The Glossary can be updated via the MarketLive administration system.

The MarketLive Customer Care Management (CCM) module is the technological foundation for the new Spritz.com phone center. Customer service reps can place orders live right through the website, and look up all transaction data and customer history through their Web interface during customer calls. The CCM module eliminated the need for a separate order system for the call center.

"MarketLive proved its flexibility by adapting to Spritz.com`s unique needs," said Ken Burke, Multimedia Live President and CEO. "Spritz.com places a big emphasis on brands and on an easy selection process, and the MarketLive product has the built-in tools that make this kind of merchandising work."
