Benchmark Brands has appointed John Caplinger as director of customer care. Caplinger joins Benchmark Brands from Allconnect Inc., an Atlanta relocation service company, where he operated a 225-seat customer contact center.
In his position with Benchmark Brands, Caplinger will oversee the company’s in-house customer contact center. Benchmark Brands’s customer contact center handles more than 1 million calls per year. The center handles sales for the company’s FootSmart catalog and e-commerce site.
Benchmark Brands is No. 216 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide to Retail Web Sites.
