Demandware names former Oracle, Sterling Commerce execs as vice presidents
Jamus Driscoll, a former marketing executive at Oracle Corp., and Tom Griffin, former vice president of global strategic alliances at Sterling Commerce, have joined Demandware Inc. as vice presidents, respectively, of marketing and business development.
Driscoll served on the Oracle Retail marketing steering committee and led the marketing teams for Oracle’s solutions marketing and customer marketing. Prior to Oracle, Driscoll served as the director of solutions marketing to enterprise customers at ProfitLogic Inc., a provider of mechandising optimization software that Oracle acquired in 2005.
Prior to ProfitLogic, Driscoll was industry marketing manager at Ascential Software, a provider of enterprise data integration technology.
Griffin led the development of a new corporate strategy and program for alliances at Sterling Commerce, a unit of AT&T Inc., which he joined through Sterling’s late-2004 acquisition of Yantra Corp., where he was vice president of strategic alliances. Prior to Yantra, Griffin had served in sales, business development and marketing positions at Siemens Business Services.
