PFSweb’s Q1 revenue rises 6% to $82 million

PFSweb Inc., a provider of fulfillment, web site hosting and other services to retailers, said net revenue rose 6% to $81.9 million for the first quarter ended March 31.

The company attributed most of its Q1 revenue increase to a 98% rise in service fee revenue, which doubled to $14.1 million from $7.1 a year ago. Product revenue declined 7% to $63.6 million from $68.6 million, the company said. PFSweb’s services include warehousing and distribution of client-owned inventory; products include its Entente Suite e-commerce platform.

PFSweb recently signed a 5-year lease for an additional 306,000 square feet of warehouse space at the new Airways Distribution Center in Southaven, MS, where the company will soon have facilities totaling more than 900,000 square feet. It also plans to expand its call center operations in Memphis, TN.
