Spiegel Brands relaunches Newport News site
Spiegel Brands Inc. yesterday relaunched its Newport News e-commerce site with improved site search product listings and merchandising.
The new site, constructed in-house, includes one-click ensemble purchasing, style tips, color swatches, additional alternate product views and enhanced search capabilities in the clearance area, Spiegel says. Spiegel is No. 51 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide to Retail Web Sites.
Improvements include:
• Advanced search options in the clearance area that allow customer to tailor their search by price, color or size.
• More intuitive and strategically placed call-outs for promotions, for example, buy-one-get-one, just-reduced, etc.
• More detailed product listings, including color swatches, more alternate views and larger photos.
“Based on extensive customer research, we’ve created a site that connects with the customer and mirrors the catalog she loves,” says Geralynn Madonna, president and CEO, Spiegel Brands.
