Supplier of Law Enforcement Equipment Selects Robust Ecometry Software
to Enhance Customer Service
DELRAY BEACH, FL (July 1, 2004) Ecometry, the industry leading provider of software for multi-channel and direct commerce companies, today announced that OMB Police Supply has selected the Ecometry Commerce Suite to power its multi-channel sales operations.
Family owned and operated, OMB Police Supply, also called Express Police Supply, is based in Lenexa Kansas and sells police equipment, firearms and clothing to law enforcement agencies.
OMB chose the robust Ecometry Commerce Suite on the Windows SQL platform, as well as Ecometry’s Point of Sale for their retail store, to streamline their operations and centralize their database with the goal of enhancing customer service.
Co-owner Robert Ralph stated, “Ecometry has many functions that allow us to really focus on our unique industry. It will also help with our internal organization – everything will be more orderly.”
He added, “Most important to us is the ability to analyze our sales information ”
Ralph noted that OMB can provide its customers premium service with the implementation of Ecometry. “We sell basically the same things as our competitors – we have to offer the easiest way to buy and the best customer service to set us apart - and Ecometry will help us do that. We want our customers to be happy they bought from us!”
Ralph said they are beginning with the core Ecometry system and want to get comfortable with it. He believes the Ecometry improvements will pay for the system and then the company will implement Ecometry add- on modules as needed.
