Adding Top-tier E-mail Acquisition, List Management and Market Research Services to Return Path’s E-mail Performance Suite Creates Unrivaled E-mail Services Powerhouse
New York, New York (June 29, 2004) – Return Path, Inc., the premier e-mail performance management company, announces today that it has acquired NetCreations, Inc., the leading provider of permission-based e-mail acquisition and sampling services, from Consodata Group Limited, a unit of Seat P.G., one of the world`s leading multi-platform directory companies. Terms of the deal are not being disclosed.
The merger creates a company that will serve 1,500 top U.S. marketers as clients, has 500 top web sites and ISPs as data partners, 650 channel partners, and a registered user base of 41 million active consumers that grows by nearly 50,000 per day. NetCreations will become a division of Return Path, led by President Michael Mayor and the current NetCreations team. Mayor will also join Return Path’s Board of Directors.
