Channel Intelligence launches two suites of commerce services for product manufacturers and retailers

SellPath and BrandPath suites deliver comprehensive sales acceleration services for manufacturers, retailers and consumers involved in online commerce

Orlando, Fla. – July 6, 2004 – Channel Intelligence, a Florida-based commerce data interchange services company, announced today the release of SellPath Services and BrandPath Services, two full-service commerce suites designed to powerfully deliver sales leads and significant purchase gains for manufacturers and retailers involved with channel sales.

The development of the SellPath and BrandPath suites broadens the reach of Channel Intelligence’s services to the entire retail industry, while it also provides better overall service and functionality to a growing population of online consumers. Both suites provide full-service solutions for producers and sellers hoping to increase and monitor sales activities through “the channel,” the commerce-driven conduit of retail sales that involves manufacturers, retailers, value-added resellers (VARs), third-party Internet outlets and consumers.

Here is a summary of the Channel Intelligence suites and their specific offerings:

SellPath Services – Product-specific demand services for manufacturers that drive customers to purchase their products, both online and through traditional offline retail stores.

- SellPath Product Links: Increases sales by showing online customers where specific products are in-stock and readily available for online purchase. Encourages final purchase commitment through convenient shopping experience.

- SellPath Associated Links: Drives sales to preferred online retailers and increases the average order size by introducing online customers to products and related accessories, not those of competitors (i.e., Canon camera with Canon tripod)

- SellPath Bundle Links: Creates a package of related products (i.e., camera, tripod, memory card) into a single purchase. Simplifies the purchase of an entire bundle of related products and accessories.

- SellPath Product Pinpointer: Targets the availability of specific products at the stores that regularly sell them and determines stock status for those items. Directs consumers to where they may go locally to view and purchase the specific product.

- SellPath VAR Pinpointer: Determines for manufacturers the value-added resellers (VARs) who are doing the best job selling and promoting their products. Drives customers to the VARs best qualified to provide sales, service, installation and support of those products.

BrandPath Services – Brand-specific demand services that promote consumer brand loyalty, support channel partners and sell more products.

- BrandPath Product Line Pinpointer: Directs brand-loyal online consumers to offline retailers who represent and sell a particular product line. Delivers up-selling opportunities through consistent store traffic and brand loyalty.

- BrandPath Dealer Links: Directs online consumers to see only a particular manufacturer’s brand of products available at their preferred online retailer. Limits competition while promoting brand loyalty.

- BrandPath Store Locator: Displays a map in vivid detail which directs online consumers toward purchase at offline retail store locations that carry the particular products they wish to buy.

“It’s all about simplifying the buying process for our customers to help them increase sales,” said Rob Wight, CEO and President at Channel Intelligence. “As our relationships grow within the retail sector, these powerful suites provide the kind of comprehensive services that our customers desire. Rather than serve them in an a la carte format, we’ve leveraged the best of our services for optimal impact and customer satisfaction.”

Channel Intelligence has already compiled an impressive list of more than 70 manufacturing customers, including Canon, Hewlett Packard, Samsung, and Iomega. These manufacturers of well-known and commercially successful products benefit most from their channel sales involvement with Channel Intelligence’s more than 250 retail partners, including Best Buy, Circuit City, CompUSA, OfficeMax, RadioShack and Sears.
