Avenue A | Razorfish creates a new department to handle emerging marketing


Seattle-based Interactive marketing firm Avenue A | Razorfish, a unit of aQuantive Inc., has named Bruce Woolsey as vice president of advanced marketing solutions, a new position.

Advanced Marketing Solutions focuses on how consumers interact with new and emerging interactive channels–including video; video on demand; mobile; games; social networking, including blogs; and what the company calls “social community,” social sites, RSS feeds and podcasts “We’re focused on helping our clients effectively reach their consumers in a digital environment that is changing daily,” Woolsey says.

Avenue A | Razorfish also announced the appointments of Jeremy Lockhorn as director of emerging media and video innovation and Patrick Moorhead a named manager of research and development, both in the Advanced Marketing Solutions group.

An 8-year veteran of Avenue A | Razorfish. Woolsey previously ran the company’s client service organization.
