Endeca grows staff 50% to meet demand

With revenue up 104% for the first nine months of this year over last, site search provider Cambridge, MA-based Endeca Technologies has added 100 new positions in the past year, a 50% growth in staff, the company reports. It plans to increase its staff by another 25% in the first half of 2007.

Endeca also reports that third quarter revenue was up 104% over Q3 a year earlier. Endeca says the growth was the result of the signing of dozens of new customers as well as expanding business with existing customers.

Endeca provides search technology for online retailers as well as for other organizations seeking to provide access to information in databases.
