ExactTarget Signs More Than 400 Customers in the First Half of 2004; Adds 40 New Positions
Email Marketing Service Provider Signs Nearly 80 Customers in June,
including Little Tikes, Vacation Express, Sandbox and WTTV-TV (Fox)
INDIANAPOLIS - (July 21, 2004) - ExactTarget, a developer of on-demand email marketing software solutions, continues its outstanding growth with the signing of nearly 80 new customers during June, bringing the total of new customer wins for the first six months of the year to more than 400.

During June, new customers included a variety of organizations spanning diverse industry verticals, such as:
• Little Tikes, a multi-national manufacturer and marketer of high-quality, innovative children`s products. Little Tikes selected ExactTarget`s platform to personalize new product offerings and to announce special promotions using dynamic content.
• Blackboard, Inc., a Washington D.C.-based firm providing software and services to the education industry. The company will use ExactTarget to present targeted, personalized email messages to its varied client base that includes colleges, universities, schools and textbook publishers.
• Vacation Express, an Atlanta-based tour operator serving more than 70,000 passengers yearly. The company will rely on ExactTarget`s platform to manage and build brand identity across the enterprise. This will allow Vacation Express to increase customer confidence levels by delivering consistent, time-sensitive promotional offers to its customers.
• Sandbox, based in Virginia, is a comprehensive, online Fantasy Sports theme park that has managed more than 1.6 million fantasy teams to-date. Sandbox will use ExactTarget to supply products that ensure secure, reliable access to servers and the applications that run on them.
• The Brighton Agency, St. Louis, handles advertising, digital marketing, direct marketing, public relations and media for clients such as Dairy Queen and Bank of America. The agency will use the ExactTarget platform to enhance their customer relationships, reduce marketing costs, and produce revenue via email marketing.
• WTTV-TV, the Indianapolis-based Fox affiliate, will use the email platform to send personalized promotions to the more than 21,000 members of the Fox Fan Club and to ensure compliance with current CAN-spam laws.
