Bazaarvoice’s Hurt joins the board of advisors at Click Forensics


Brett Hurt, CEO of Bazaarvoice and founder of Coremetrics Inc., has joined the board of advisors of Click Forensics LLC, which operates the Click Fraud Network. A pioneer in the development of e-commerce measurement solutions and industry standards, Hurt will work with the more than 3,000 members of the Click Fraud Network to develop and refine industry pay-per-click measurement guidelines and services to prevent click fraud.

“Click Forensics is playing a pivotal role in helping the industry tackle one of the biggest barriers to making online advertising a long-term viable marketing medium—the problem of click fraud,” Hurt says. “I look forward to lending my experience in the e-commerce measurement world to help Click Forensics and online advertisers better identify click fraud and optimize PPC campaigns.”

Hurt previously served on the board of directors at Shop.org and is on the board of advisors for the non-profit Web Analytics Association. He also is an entrepreneur in residence at Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
