Brown, which operates Shoes.com and is No. 192 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide to Retail Web Sites, reported e-commerce sales of $15.8 million in the third quarter, up from sales of $8.7 million for the same quarter in 2005.

For January through September, e-commerce sales were $39.7 million, compared with web sales of $22.1 million from the same period in 2005.

In the third quarter, the web represented 2.3% of total sales of $676.8 million. For January through September revenue from Shoes.com also accounted for 2.2% of total sales of $1.83 billion.
